Shopify CRO agency: turn the traffic you already have into more sales
More traffic won’t fix a store that leaks. We find exactly where your shoppers get stuck, fix it, and prove it worked with real data.
We’re a Shopify Partner, so every fix works within what Shopify allows on your plan. AI speeds up our analysis. People make the calls.
- Shopify Partner: themes, apps, Shop Pay and checkout, done properly
- Built on Microsoft Clarity, GA4 and Shopify's own data, not opinions
- Open reporting: you see every test we ran, including the ones that lost
- Judged on revenue per visitor, not clicks or vanity metrics
The short version
What CRO is: making it easier for the people already on your site to buy, and to buy more.
What we do: we check your tracking, watch how real people use your site, find the friction, then fix and test the changes most likely to pay off.
Why it matters: every ad dollar, SEO ranking and AI mention lands on your website. If the site doesn’t convert, all of that work leaks.
Where we start: a $2,200 (inc GST) CRO best practice review, or a deeper data-led program for bigger sites.
Not an online store? If you run a service or lead gen business, see how we help you get more leads.
Why a small lift is a big deal
Same 20,000 visitors a month
1.5% → 2%
At a 1.5% conversion rate, 20,000 visitors gives you 300 sales. Lift that to 2% and it’s 400, from the same traffic and the same ad spend.
Example only, to show the maths. Not a client result.
Shopify store CRO
Make buying from your Shopify store as easy as Amazon makes it
Your customers shop on Amazon. They expect saved details, clear delivery dates, fast pages and a checkout that just works. That’s the bar now, whether you like it or not.
We use AI-assisted audits and real shopper behaviour to find where your store falls short of that standard, from the first product page to the order confirmation, then fix the gaps that cost you the most revenue.
- Product pages that answer every question: sizing, delivery, returns, reviews
- Clear delivery costs and timing, shown early
- Faster, simpler checkout with the payment options shoppers expect
- Search, filters and collections that help people find the right product
- Upsells, bundles and free shipping thresholds that lift order value
- Mobile-first fixes, because that's where most shoppers are
of online shopping carts are abandoned before checkout is finished (70.22% average across 50 studies).
The upside
Baymard's testing found the average large online store could lift its conversion rate by 35.26% through better checkout design alone.

Shopify Partner
Shopify CRO from a Shopify Partner
As a Shopify Partner, we know what can and can’t be changed on Shopify, so our recommendations work in the real world, not just in a slide deck.
- Theme first. Most wins live in the theme: product page layout, collection filters, cart drawer, trust and delivery messaging, and page speed. We check theme settings and sections before writing custom code.
- Apps: fewer, better. Every app adds weight. We check what's installed, what's used, and what's slowing the store or clashing with checkout.
- Shop Pay and accelerated checkout. Shop Pay lets returning shoppers skip retyping their details. It's the closest thing Shopify has to one-click, so we make sure it's on, visible and working on mobile.
- Checkout: know the rules. Shopify now runs checkout changes through Checkout Extensibility, and some of them need Shopify Plus. We tell you up front what your plan allows.
- Tracking that survives checkout. Old thank-you page scripts have stopped working, so we check your purchase data is complete before we trust any conversion number.

CRO in the era of AI
Best-in-class CRO, sped up with AI
CRO used to mean weeks of watching recordings and guessing what to test. Now AI helps us sift thousands of sessions, reviews and survey answers fast, spot patterns a person would miss, and draft more ideas to test.
But AI doesn’t know your customers like you do, and it gets things wrong. So every insight is checked by a real CRO specialist, and every change is measured. Technology plus people. That’s the point.
- A test log you can see: what we changed, why, what happened, and what failed
- AI summaries of Microsoft Clarity heatmaps and session recordings, checked by a person
- Faster analysis of reviews, surveys and support questions to find what stops people buying
- More test ideas and copy options, with humans choosing what goes live
- Pages ready for shoppers and AI agents who arrive already informed
Your next customer might come from ChatGPT. Is your site ready?
Shoppers who click through from AI tools like ChatGPT converted 90% better than other visitors to US retail sites in Adobe's latest data. They arrive ready to buy, so your site has to be ready for them.
AI-referred visitors vs other visitors, US retail sites
- Conversion rate+90%
- Revenue per visit+83%
- Time on site+73%
- Add-to-cart rate+53%
- Pages per visit+25%
is the average share of a US retail homepage that AI systems can actually read and cite. More than a third is invisible to them.
Why it matters
Pages that explain, like clear product details, FAQs and delivery info, are the ones AI can find, understand and recommend.
GEO gets you into the AI answer. CRO turns that visit into a sale
GEO (generative engine optimisation) helps AI tools like ChatGPT and Google’s AI Overviews understand, trust and recommend your business. CRO makes sure the page they send people to does its job. We do both, and they work best together.
How we do CRO
No guesswork, and no 80-page report that sits in a folder.
- 1Get clear on the goal
- 2Fix the tracking first
- 3Audit against the best
- 4Watch real people
- 5Prioritise and plan
- 6Make the changes
- 7Test and measure honestly
- 8Repeat
1. Get clear on the goal
We agree what a win looks like for your store: revenue per visitor, conversion rate or average order value. Then we agree which pages and journeys matter most.
You get: a one-page goal and metric sheet everyone signs off on.
2. Fix the tracking first
We check that every add-to-cart, checkout and purchase is tracked once, correctly, in GA4 and Shopify, and in HubSpot where you use it. If the numbers are wrong, every decision after this is wrong too.
You get: a tracking health check, with what’s broken and how to fix it.
3. Audit against the best
An AI-assisted review of your key pages and journeys against proven UX best practice, and against the standard set by Amazon and the best in your category. A person checks every finding, because AI is fast but it’s not always right.
You get: a prioritised list of friction points, with screenshots.
4. Watch real people
We study heatmaps, scroll maps and session recordings in Microsoft Clarity, plus GA4 funnels and Shopify’s own analytics, to see where shoppers hesitate, get stuck or leave.
You get: evidence for each problem, so changes are based on behaviour, not opinion.
5. Prioritise and plan
Each idea is scored on likely impact, confidence and effort. Quick fixes go first, and bigger changes get a proper hypothesis.
You get: a ranked roadmap: what to fix, what to test and how each change is measured.
6. Make the changes
We build the changes in your Shopify theme ourselves, or brief your developer with clear specs.
You get: changes live on your site, or ready-to-build specs.
7. Test and measure honestly
With enough traffic, we A/B test. Without it, we compare before and after against pages we didn’t change, and track faster signals like add-to-cart and checkout starts.
You get: a plain-English read on what worked, what didn’t and what we learned.
8. Repeat
CRO is a loop, not a one-off. Each round of results feeds the next round of ideas.
You get: an updated roadmap and a regular report tied to revenue.

Why Gorilla 360 for CRO: Authenticity + Tech = Magic
Authenticity
No BS, no fluff. We’re real people who care about your store and do great work. We put real customers, real photos and real proof on your pages, not AI slop or fake urgency, so shoppers can see the real people behind your brand.
Tech
We use AI tools to sift your Microsoft Clarity, GA4 and Shopify data fast. That gives our team more time for the high-value work: strategy, and the fixes that lift sales.
Results
We report on sales, revenue and order value, not just clicks. If a test loses, we’ll tell you, and use what we learned.
The whole picture
CRO works best with your ads, SEO and GEO. We run all of them, so the page and the traffic finally work together.
Don't take our word for it

CRO questions, answered plainly
How much traffic do I need for CRO?
Less than you might think for most of it, but enough for testing. Fixing tracking, removing friction and following proven best practice works at any traffic level. Classic A/B testing needs a lot of conversions to give a reliable answer, so for smaller stores we use before-and-after comparisons, behaviour data and faster signals instead. We’ll tell you straight which approach suits your store.
Do you guarantee a conversion uplift?
No. Anyone who guarantees a number before they’ve seen your data is guessing. What we guarantee is a clear process, honest reporting and changes backed by evidence. If something doesn’t work, you’ll hear it from us first.
What do you measure on a Shopify store?
Revenue per visitor, conversion rate, average order value, and where shoppers drop off between product page, cart and checkout. We use Microsoft Clarity, GA4, Shopify’s own analytics and HubSpot data where you have it.
Why does being a Shopify Partner matter for CRO?
Because we know Shopify inside out: themes, apps, Shop Pay and what Shopify’s checkout rules allow on your plan. So everything we recommend is something your store can actually do.
Where does AI fit in?
AI helps us review pages, spot patterns in behaviour data and benchmark your site against the best, much faster than doing it all by hand. A real CRO specialist checks every finding before it reaches you. AI speeds up the work, it doesn’t replace judgement. And if your customers are finding you through AI tools, our GEO service helps you show up there.
Will you make the changes, or just tell us what to do?
Either. The Best Practice Review gives you a prioritised list your team can action. The CRO Program includes implementation support: we build the changes or brief your developers, then measure the results.
